Configuring the Analyze Results Workspace
-
The Analyze Results workspace is completelty user configurable, allowing you to show only the graphs and data tables that are of interest to you, in the position you want, using the graph types you prefer ... and much more.
-
To configure your workspace, click the 'Configure this screen' link at the top of the navigation panel. This will open the configuration screen.
-
Within this screen, you can configure the display for the different Analysis Level (whether you are looking at all User Journeys or just a specific Journey's steps) and Analysis Mode (whether values are calculated using web page total response times or the times of every individual step).
-
Select the User Journey level and the Step Groups mode.
-
The table on the lower left of this screen lists graphs and data tables that are available but not configured to be displayed. On the right-hand side of the screen, you will see the list of graphs and tables that will be displayed in the upper and lower panels of the Analyze Results workspace (for the selected analysis level and mode).
-
You can drag and drop graphs and data tables between the three lists.
-
You can modify the display order of graphs and data tables by re-arranging the order of the items within a list.
-
If you would like to, move some graphs between the upper and lower panel, and maybe remove any graphs that do not interest you (of course, you can add these back to your display again at any point in the future - including during a performance test).
-
In the next section, we will create a new graph and then add it to the workspace.
-
Click Close to apply your changes.
-
As well as configuring which graphs and data tables are displayed in the workspace, you can also configure each graph or data table individually.
-
The columns in data tables can be dragged to re-order them, their widths modified by dragging the inter-column divider, and their data sorted by clicking a columns heading once or twice (once for ascending order, twice for descending order).
-
Many graph properties can be modified; the properties available to you depend on the graph type.
- Right-click on a number of different graph types, select Properties and explore what is available.
