-
The post processing wizard allows you to make common configurations to your User Journey in an easy manner.
-
The first screen of the wizard introduces what will be performed: configuring auto-correlation of session data (such as __VIEWSTATE in .NET applications), removing unwanted requests, and globally changing inter-step sleep / wait times.
-
On pressing “Next” you will be presented with a list of all the different domains you visited during the recording session (the list will include domains that you may not have consciously visited but were still referenced by the pages you did visit).
-
You can select domains you are not interested in testing and then click “Next” to delete all steps referencing these domains from your User Journey.
-
The following wizard screen allows you to globally alter the sleep / think times for Step Groups (web pages) or individual steps (URL requests). When you are happy with your settings, select “Next”.
-
StressTester™ will then inform you it is about to scan the User Journey for hidden session data that can be handled by StressTester™ automatically (meaning you do not need to worry about this). Such data includes jsessionid in Java systems, __VIEWSTATE in .Net and many others. In fact you can even configure StressTester™ to automatically handle your application's own session data (contact Support for further details).
-
Click “Next” and StressTester™ will either list the data fields it has found, or inform you that the User Journey contains no such fields. If fields are found, it is strongly advised that you leave the fields selected and then click “Next”.
-
Click “Finish” to end the post-recording wizard. Your User Journey will now be selected within the main StressTester™ window.
